When you hang a piece of original art I hope you feel the joy I had while creating it just for you!
When I am inspired to create an original painting I strive to tell a story on canvas. Maybe it's your babies first smile, the family dog, that Saturday morning donut, or a fresh flower just picked from the garden.
I use high quality gallery wrapped canvas or board and artists' quality oil paints. If you choose to commission a personal piece of art, I work from well lit, clear photographs. It is a simple process culminating in a piece of art that you will treasure for years.

How it works
STEP 1 // SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO
I need 3-5 CLEAR photos taken in GOOD, bright light. The photos should only have the subject you want painted and in a pose you like. Once I receive the photos, I will narrow down which photos I think will work best for the size canvas you’ve chosen and most likely crop the photo for better composition. I will then confirm all choices with you before moving forward.
STEP 2 // PAY YOUR DEPOSIT
I require a 50% deposit before beginning any commissioned piece.
STEP 3 // RECEIVE YOUR ARTWORK
You will receive your original artwork in 4-6 weeks! I love to see where you choose to hang your one of a kind piece so please send a photo!

From the day the commission details are confirmed, please allow 4-6 weeks for your painting to be dry enough to ship.

Yes! The better the photo, the better the painting! A good photo is one that shows the subject in the preferred pose and in daylight or other bright light. It needs to be as clear as possible and depict the colors accurately.

Yes! If you’d like certain colors to match your decor, a certain size or even want me to incorporate specific yarns or fabrics, I can come up with a custom piece that will work for your space.
